For those who have been following my posts and may have reviewed some of my Pompe Disease-related pages, I’ve been adding passages to the Diagnostic Journey page. You can view that page and those updates by clicking HERE.

If you’re just visiting the Diagnostic Journey page, it spans the period of twenty-six years during which I was living under the belief that I had Muscular Dystrophy. That period ended in 2012 when I was ultimately diagnosed with Late Onset Pompe Disease and was able to pursue Enzyme Replacement Therapy (ERT), the treatment that finally stabilized my condition. A lot happened over those two and a half decades so it’s taking some time to chronicle that process.
